PROFESSIONAL MENTORING 

 

This program will give youth the opportunity to explore various career paths from a diversity of occupational fields.  For two weeks each summer youth in our program will be able to participate in the daily routine of their chosen Mentor.  We believe this experience will give youth in our program a rare glimpse into the professional world and an opportunity to evaluate a specific field of interest.  Thus instead of scrambling to determine a major in the first two years college, youth who have been afforded this experience will have the clarity and understanding of the career field they desire to pursue.  This program will be available for free to youth who are already participating in any of the other Soul Surcher programs and will not require the youth to earn credit hours in the Learning Center program.
